Hott-Wire/SnowMeltz should never extend through any joint or striker mark without a jumper. Always use a Joint Jumper Kit (MICABJMPKIT) to go under all joints in asphalt, concrete, mortar, or any other hard surface being warmed or snow-melted by Hott-Wire/SnowMeltz.
