The SnowMeltz kits 110-185 sqft allow you to choose either M326A or M326ARS Activator. M326A/M326ARS are both moisture/temperature activator that activates once moisture is detected and the temperature is below 37 degrees (F). Once moisture is no longer detected, the system continues to run for about 90 minutes. Both M326A/M326ARS must be mounted outside and are capable of switching up to 30 amps. The M326ARS has a moisture sensor that can be remotely located up to 10 feet away from the main activator unit.
SnowMeltz kits 110-185 sqft are meant to be either have a concrete type installation (includes joint jumpers) or asphalt/pavers (no jumpers included).
Preconfigured to run only on 240 volts.

The SnowMeltz kits 110-185 sqft snow melting system is designed to heat driveways, heat sidewalks, or add electric snow melt to other exterior surfaces. For Concrete, purchase a kit with jumper kits to protect the heating cable when it crosses a control joint. Opt for no jumpers included in your kit when embedding SnowMeltz into asphalt or in a sand bed below pavers.
Pairing the SnowMeltz driveway heating mats with the automatic moisture and temperature activator, these kits will keep the driveways & sidewalks snow & ice free. Install the activator outside and expose the top moisture sensor to falling snow, will activate the system upon detecting moisture and the ambient temperature is below 37 degrees. The activators come preconfigured to allow for the easiest and quickest route to get your SnowMeltz system up and running after installation.
