The SnowMeltz Mats 208V/50W are designed to ONLY be run at 208 volts and will generate 50 watts per square foot when embedded in asphalt, concrete or a sand bed under pavers. Mats are available in square footages from 10 to 100 square feet. Spacing may vary from each mat. Mats be used with any of the Heatizon contactor or relay panels and any line-voltage activator. These 50-watt per square foot models are usually used in commercial projects where higher heat output is needed for crucial access. In most residential settings 37-watt per square foot models are sufficient to melt snow and ice on most outside surfaces.
